The feisty barmaid was killed off the ITV soap on Monday night's episode, shortly after being pushed off a building and whacked with a lead pipe.
Fresh from her holiday to Marbella, actress Michelle was one of millions tuning in to see Tina's farewell last night, but she confessed on Twitter: "Don't think I can watch this… Tissues at the ready."
Following the episode, the star thanked everyone involved in Corrie and all the fans for their support throughout her time on the cobbles.
"It's the end of an era. Thank you to all you lovely people who changed my life, supported and made the last six and a half years so special," she wrote.
"To you all, I'm eternally grateful. Thank you to Coronation Street for putting me on the most amazing path and allowing me to live my dream."
Michelle concluded: "I'm going to miss Tina so much, but a part of her will be with me forever #byebyetina."
The starlet also shared screenshots of some of her character's most memorable moments, and a collage of pictures.
Michelle, 26, announced last year she was leaving Corrie to pursue other work opportunities. Since filming her final scenes in April, she's gone on to serve as a judge on the Lorraine High Street Fashion Awards and announce a fashion range with Lipsy.
She's also been back on the audition circuit trying out for new roles, including one in a mystery US TV series, and has said she's interested in spending time in Hollywood to pursue a movie role.
Next year, she'll be busy planning her wedding to former TOWIE star Mark Wright. They became engaged in Dubai in September 2013.
