Operatic group Collabro and illusionist Darcy Oake have become the first acts to secure a place in the finals of this year's Britain's Got Talent.

During the first live semi-final battle on Monday night (26 May), Collabro earned the most viewer votes and went straight through to the next round.

Collabro stormed through and got the most viewer votes.

Darcy then battled it out for the second spot alongside impressionist Jon Clegg, and was successful after learning he received the second highest votes.

Also on last night's show, there was a bit of drama from the judges as Alesha Dixon threw a glass of water over David Walliams!

It all kicked off when David suggested that his golden buzzer act Christian Spridon was a better singer than Alesha, who he claims "made a career miming".

Darcy is also through to the final of BGT.

While David immediately laughed off the comment, Alesha denied the claim and gave David a telling off!

Then, after much cheering from the audience, Alesha grabbed the glass of water from the judges desk and slowly poured it over David's head. Oops!

Luckily for David, Alesha soon laughed it off!

During the results show, X Factor star Ella Henderson also performed her debut single 'Ghost' for the first time.

Alesha got revenge on David!

On Sunday night's show (25 May), viewers saw David, Alesha, Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden whittle down hundreds of acts to just 45 contestants. The remaining contestants will now perform in live semi-finals all week until Thursday 29 May.

The judges will also have the opportunity to choose a wildcard act, in which they have to collectively decided which previously eliminated contestant they would like to return.

The overall winner of BGT, who will be crowned during the live finals on 7 June, will take home £250,000 and a spot at the Royal Variety Performance.

Britain's Got Talent continues tonight (27 May) at 7.30pm on ITV.
