First up, it's the pie. We all love a good pie, and Heston's on a mission to find inspiration for a three-course pie banquet. Yummy!
For his starter, he looks at the history of 'surprise' pies of the 17th century, where some ingredients were alive. Fortunately, he doesn't go down the little boy jumping out of the pie route, instead he does an interesting concoction of beetroot and horseradish ice cream, and goat's cheese panna cotta, saffron and bacon. Sounds, erm, different.
The main course is a gothic affair, inspired by Sweeney Todd, and the pudding is a pie and mash liquor dessert. Served 100 feet in the air over East London, will the dining British pie makers enjoy his feast?
