Rumours began circulating on Tuesday (29 April) that the star - who plays Santana Lopez - had been let go from the hit musical series following an alleged disagreement with co-star Lea Michele (Rachel Berry).
However, a spokesperson for Naya has dismissed the speculation, telling trade newspaper The Hollywood Reporter: "Any reports or rumours circulating that Naya Rivera was let go or fired from Glee are absolutely untrue. End of story."
Naya hasn't directly addressed the rumours herself, but she hinted that everything was fine by tweeting yesterday: "SO excited to watch Glee tonight! #doowop #shirleymaclaine #fancy."
And Lea seems equally happy and dismissive of feud rumours, giving Naya a shout out on Twitter during last night's US episode.
"OMG so excited for this right now!!!! @NayaRivera and @MsAmberPRiley are AMAZING!!! #SING #GleeAlong," she told her four million followers.
When a fan asked Lea how much she loved her Glee family, she replied: "I love them all so much!"
While a rep for Naya denied she'd been axed, sources have told US outlets that her character may not feature in the upcoming season finale. Glee reps have declined to comment on her character's future, perhaps for fear of spoiling the storyline.
It hasn't been the easiest month for Naya as it emerged in early April that her engagement to rapper Big Sean had been called off. They had confirmed their plans to marry in October 2013, but six months later split.
