Show bosses announced the news on Twitter last night (26 March), tellings fans: "Series 7 of #MiC is back on E4 on 7 April at 10pm *fireworks and champagne bottles explode everywhere* #MiCSeries7."

A cheerful Spencer and Alex Mytton also announced the news via an Instagram video. Last week, MIC unveiled the brand new trailer featuring child actors - and if it's anything to go by, this new series will be explosive!

We know that since the end of series six, Binky Felstead and Alex have gone from strength to strength despite experiencing on-going drama with Alex's ex-girlfriend Phoebe-Lettice Thompson.

Elsewhere, Andy Jordan recently told Reveal that he's on the lookout for love again and but thinks ex Louise will rekindle her romance with Spencer!

Although that could mean more trouble in store, as it's been rumoured that another one of Spencer's ex girlfriend's, Stephanie Pratt, could be making a return to the show.

This is set to be an exciting year for the E4 reality show, as they have also announced a standalone series scheduled for August, which will see some of the gang swap their famous SW3 postcode for New York's Big Apple.

Channel 4 have commissioned the six-part series called Made In Chelsea: New York and we'll see the reality stars take their world of champagne, canap├ęs and lavish parties on the New York social scene.

Executive producer Sarah Dillistone from Monkey Productions, said: "We're very excited about the world of Made In Chelsea travelling America. New York has a scene buzzing and sophisticated enough to rival Chelsea, so it feels like the next natural step.

"We're going to see the cast out of their bubble for the first time since the show began and I'm sure the result will be nothing like we've seen before."

Made In Chelsea airs Monday 7 April at 10pm on E4.
