The 23-year-old reality star will open up about his early life and the loss of his mother, finding fame on TOWIE and his time on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! when he releases his book, called Being Reem, in May.
Joey, who has been an instant favourite since joining the cast of The Only Way is Essex from the second series, said: "I've done some pretty wicked things in the last few years but getting to bring out a book is really cool.
"I'm looking forward to my fans reading all about my life so far and meeting them when the book comes out."
Being Reem, which promises to provide "a real insight into the world of a truly exceptional character", will be available to buy on 22 May.
Briony Gowlett, Commissioning Editor, added: "Joey Essex is a one-off. Not only does he have bags of natural charm and a unique style, but he's as authentic as they come. I'm so pleased that he's chosen us to help him tell his story and I feel sure that this book will be a must have for any Joey fan."
Joey, who owns his own shop Fusey, in Brentwood, Essex, is gearing up for a busy couple of months. Not only will Joey be releasing his first compilation album, Essex Anthems, but he'll also be starring in his own reality show Educating Joey Essex.
Now fans of the star will also be able to delve into the world of Joey Essex with his first book!
The synopsis reads: "Trendsetter, male grooming icon and all-round good guy, this is the world according to the one and only Joey Essex.
"Spreading joy wherever he goes, Joey became an instant favourite after joining the cast of The Only Way Is Essex in 2011. Renowned for his brilliant observations, distinctive style and immaculate hair, his unforgettable appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! has confirmed that this Brentwood boy is a national treasure in the making."
It continues: "But life for Joey hasn't always been so straightforward. When he was just 10 years old, his mother, Tina, committed suicide after battling with depression, a fact that Joey didn't find out until many years later. For the first time Joey opens up about life before fame and the events which have led him to where he is today.
"Whether you're a salty potato or a pair of Capri Suns, Joey teaches us to take everything as it comes and shares his own unique view of the world around him. Hilarious, touching and always surprising, Being Reem is the crazy story of Joey Essex's journey to becoming one of our most loveable stars."
Being Reem, published by Hodder & Stoughton, will be released on 22 May.
