Kat is absolutely fuming with Alfie after his chat with Luke caused him to run away and leave Stacey, and Kat lets Alfie know how upset she is by shouting at him about what he's done.

Their argument is interrupted when there's a hammering at the door – have the police found out where Stacey is and come to arrest her?

As events take a tearful turn, Kat realises there is only one course of action and she leaves the house, resolved. What is Kat going to do?

Coronation Street, ITV, 7.30pm & 8.30pm

Phelan is lying on the floor not moving and Gary doesn't know what to do. He desperately phones Owen and lies Phelan's been hurt in an accident, but when Owen finds Gary wandering the streets he's forced to confess he hit Phelan with a piece of copper piping – and why he did it.

They return to the building site together, but are shocked to find Phelan's body is nowhere to be seen. They decide to visit Phelan's house to see if he's made it home, but it's in darkness and there's no answer on his phone. Has Gary really killed Phelan?

Emmerdale, ITV, 7pm

Gemma, Sean and Belle are hanging out at the cricket pavilion drinking vodka, but jealous of Belle and Sean's closeness, Gemma decides to leave.

Belle follows her mate to find out what's wrong, and the pair end up arguing about Sean. Belle pushes Gemma and she falls, hitting her head on a rock.

She gets up, and both girls go off in separate directions, but walking home, Gemma collapses and slides down a bank. She's lying motionless in the cold and dark – will anyone find her?

Hollyoaks, C4, 6.30pm

It's Peri Lomax's 14th birthday and the family gather in the Dog to celebrate her big day.

But Nana McQueen, determined to get John Paul out of his bed, ropes Carmel in to get him up and about and out for a drink.

They arrive at the pub, but there's a hushed silence as they walk through the door. When Peri then makes a shock confession, will the village convict John Paul before the jury does?
