The teenager scooped the title of Splash! Champion over fellow finalists Paralympian Richard Whitehead MBE, Boyzone singer Keith Duffy and TOWIE heartthrob Dan Osborne on Saturday night's (15 February) live finale.
A shocked Perri could only say: "I'm speechless! Thank you so much to the judges, everyone who voted, Tom Daley, the coaches."
He celebrated his win by being hoisted into the air by Tom, while clutching his trophy.
All four Splash! finalists had to perform two dives during tonight's finale: a solo dive and then a daunting synchronised dive with Olympic medallist Tom himself. No pressure then!
18-year-old Perri - who had been named as the bookies' favourite to win - sailed through the evening, scoring a perfect 30 for his solo dive and then 27.5 for his dive with Tom.
Judges' scores were combined with public votes to determine the winner.
British athlete Richard Whitehead, a Paralympic gold medallist, finished in second place, with a solo dive score of 29 and a synchronised dive score of 27.5. His latter dive pushed pro Tom to a new level as well, as Tom admitted he'd never done a synchronised dive starting from a handstand position as it was so difficult.
Boyzone star Keith Duffy - who wore Irish flag trunks (that, sadly for viewers, remained on during this week's dives) - was in third place, with scores of 25 and 26, while The Only Way Is Essex hunk Dan Osborne - clad in sparkly white trunks - took fourth, with 27 and 27.5.
Splash! began just after New Year's Eve with twenty celebrities tackling the gruelling discipline of diving - and having the injuries to prove it. Who can forget poor Gemma Collins' bruised bust or Una Healy's broken toe?
The eliminated celebrity divers were in the audience today to cheer on the finalists.
Splash! airs on ITV.
