Splash! star Dan Osborne makes the final, with thanks to TOWIE support

Dan Osborne has made the final of ITV1 show Splash! with a little help and support from his TOWIE pals (and THOSE trunks).

The one man powerhouse, 23, donned his teeny tiny swimming trunks again last night (8 February) to compete in the semi-final against former rugby union player Austin Healey, TV presenter Anna Williamson and Paralympic gold medallist Richard Whitehead.

Before competing in the diving contest, Dan shared his emotions with his Twitter followers, saying: "Actually really nervous about this one! Appreciate your support and any votes! Even any luck to send? Ha I need it!!x"

He also posted a picture of his cute son Teddy wearing a 'Vote Daddy' babygro, with the caption: "Teddy thinks you should vote for he's Daddy! Love him!!x"

Fellow TOWIE stars, including Gemma Collins and Bobby Norris, tweeted their support for Dan, also encouraging viewers to vote for him to win.

Meanwhile, James 'Arg' Argent and Tom Pearce were showing their support in the studio audience of the ITV show as model Dan attempted to make the finals.

Arg wrote: "On the way to watch and support @DannyO on Splash! Please vote for the 6ft 5 muscle man AKA Ivan Drago!!"

After a tough heat, where Austin was forced to withdraw through injury, Dan made it through to the final alongside Richard after beating Anna in the splash-off.

Dan and Richard join Diversity's Perri Kiely and Boyzone singer Keith Duffy in next weekend's final.

After making it through, Dan thanks his fans and friends on Twitter for all their support.

The live final of Splash! will air next Saturday (15 February) at 7.20pm on ITV1.
