Coronation Street actress Hayley Tamaddon thinks Ray Quinn is the celebrity to beat in this year's Dancing On Ice.

Hayley, who won Dancing On Ice in 2010 with professional skater Dan Whiston, was invited back for this year's 'All Stars' special, which marks the last ever series of the celebrity skating competition.

Speaking on ITV's This Morning, Hayley said: "Who knows, who can beat Ray Quinn? I mean, I'm hoping that I can make it to the final. I'm just loving it that much, I don't want to go."

Speaking about Duel Week last Sunday (2 February), in which Hayley went head-to-head with Beth Tweddle, she said: "I was fighting for my life. I was so angry before I went on and Dan said 'you're scaring me a bit' and I said 'no, I'm in character!' The pressure was on all of us."

Former Emmerdale actress Hayley, who recently swapped the countryside for the Corrie cobbles to play Andrea Beckett, also spoke about how she juggles her time between the soap and DOI.

"It is tiring but we're both so lucky to be in the show together again," she said. "It doesn't matter because it doesn't last forever, you've got to take every moment while it's there.

"From day one I was hoping to get on the show. It took five years and I watched it religiously and when the call came in, I was like 'it's my turn! This is it!'"

Ray, who has also been a previous Dancing On Ice champion after winning the show in 2009, has been the only celebrity this series to get the full 40 marks for a skate, and has continually received praise from the judges for his dancing abilities on ice.

Judge Jason Gardiner said of Ray's duel with Suzanne Shaw: "This was one of the most dynamic duels of the night. Ray exploded onto the ice and set the tone. He meant business.

"Suzanne served it up and hit back with much power but overall Ray was triumphant due to the fact he commands your total attention when he is on the ice. Of all the celebs only Suzanne could've given him such a close fight."

On Sunday (2 February), Bonnie Langford became the latest celebrity to leave the competition. This weekend's routine will see the remaining celebrities skate to an 80s theme.
