I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here's first evictee Annabel Giles insists that Amy Willerton is not being picked on by her fellow campmates.

In the past few days, social networking sites such as Twitter have been awash with people claiming that some of the celebrity stars are being mean to Amy.

But talking to ITV1's Daybreak this morning (2 December), Annabel said that there is no deliberate animosity in the jungle and that things just got "difficult" when Amy was found to have sneaked in contraband - a concealer stick.

When asked if Amy was being picked on, Annabel replied: "No, I don't think she's being picked on.

"When you're in a group and you're relying on food like we are - I don't know if you know how much 500 calories is? It's two handfuls of rice and two handfuls of soya beans per day. That's it.

"When you discover that someone's jeopardising the possibility of getting food, that's when it gets a bit difficult.

"That's all it was. We were all told to hand in our contraband or else our food will be affected and some of us were aware that one of us hadn't handed in all our stuff.

"I don't think I have personally have picked on Amy at all. All I remember doing is asking her to do the washing up."

Annabel was the first contestant to be voted out of the jungle last night (1 December) and she admits she "didn't want to go".

She added: "I'd only been there nine days and was just getting into the swing of it. I'd got used to my hammock and got used to everything. I was just getting to grips with it."

Annabel also admitted that she formed an unlikely friend in Joey Essex while in Australia.

"I got on really well with Joey, which is quite an odd friendship isn't it? Joey told me I was really cool, oh yeah!" she laughed. "I've been doing the 'fusey dance' and all that...the fusey thing. Yeah, I'm really cool now...!"

Finally, when asked how she celebrated coming out of the jungle, Annabel admitted: "I have to say, I had a McDonald's in the bath!

"I couldn't wait for either, so I decided to do them both at once!"
