David Beckham retired from professional football earlier this year, but he's already got a new venture lined up in the world of children's TV.

The gorgeous footballer will appear on brand new Saturday morning sports-themed show Game Changers, alongside fellow athletes including Jessica Ennis-Hill.

Becks told TV Biz that he is "excited" to be part of the show, adding: "It's an ambition of mine to inspire more young people to take part in sport."

Game Changers will aim to do just that: inspire kids in the UK to become more involved in sport. David will front a series of masterclasses on football skills.

It will start on Sky Sports on 17 August.

Meanwhile, in other Becks new today, it's been reported he wants to own his own Major League Soccer team over in the US.

He told The Sun: "This is a big decision where I'll have my franchise and how I'm going to do it. It's something I'm excited about."

The 38-year-old, of course, has plenty of experience with MLS as he was previously signed with Los Angeles Galaxy.

Sounds exciting but does this mean we're going to lose Becks back to America again!? We're quite loving him being back in the UK again.
