Actors Jeremy Edwards (Kurt) and James Redmond (Rory Finnagan) will reprise their roles for a series of late night specials.
Jeremy starred in Hollyoaks from the very beginning when the show launched in 1995, before leaving four years later. James, meanwhile, joined the C4 soap in 1998 before waving goodbye in 2002.
Bizarrely though, Jeremy's character was said to have died in a jet ski accident following his departure - but Hollyoaks has confirmed that all will be made clear.
Speaking to Reveal, a spokesperson said: "We are obviously aware that Kurt had died and, although we can't confirm how he will return, all will be made clear to the audience when the time comes. Viewers will understand." Interesting!
Jeremy and James will also be joined by John Pickard, who starred as Dominic Reilly, from 2005 to 2010. We literally can't wait!
Hollyoaks Later will air on E4 across five nights and will see the lads come together as longest serving character Tony Hutchinson (played by John's on and off screen brother Nick) faces up to his cancer demons.
The storyline is said to be 'Hangover-style' and will take place in both Spanish and Moroccan locations.
Filming has not yet begun, but the mini-series will air this autumn.
Lee Mason, from Channel 4, said: "We're thrilled to be bringing back Hollyoaks Later for a sixth series and with it some of our best loved Hollyoaks faces.
"Tony's cancer battle is an important story for us to tell and we're so excited to be able to explore it further within the high octane, highly emotional and sometimes shocking world of Hollyoaks Later".
