Coronation Street, ITV1, 7.30pm

Maria feels guilty when Aiden passes up his job opportunity in London because of her meddling and resolves to put things right.

But when Marcus finds out about the job and Aiden tells him about Maria's advice that long distance relationships don't work, Marcus is fuming with his friend and heads off to confront her.

As he tackles her about everything, emotions run high and when he demands to know why she doesn't want him to leave Weatherfield, she responds with a kiss.

When the pair then fall into bed together, will they regret this tomorrow?

Katie visits best friend Gennie tonight for a catch up, but it soon turns into an argument.

When Katie realises Gennie knew about Chas's affair with Cameron, the blonde beauty lays into her friend. Gennie insists it was none of her business, but Katie won't let up.

When her shouting wakes up baby Molly, Gennie's had enough and instead of taking Katie's insults, she stands her ground and tells Katie what she really thinks…

Trying to deal with his demons, Brendan seeks refuge in the church.

Father Des is a comfort to Mr Brady, telling the bad boy all about when his own wife died and how he decided to pray rather than get revenge.

Later, Myra arrives at the church to speak to Father Des and has no idea Brendan is listening to her troubles. Is an unlikely alliance about to be formed?
