Girls Aloud star Cheryl, who left the talent show's judging panel in 2011, was snapped arriving at Boughton House estate in Northants to help Take That singer Gary choose which contestants he wants to take through to the live shows.

Cheryl exited The X Factor to take up a place on the US version of the show alongside Simon Cowell, but ended up leaving the American show during the early stages of filming.
Simon marked her return to The X Factor UK with the simple tweet: "Welcome back Cheryl X."

Gary had hinted at Cheryl's involvement in the show with a Twitter message reading: "@CherylCole just so we don't clash, I'm wearing the pink suit with the red shoes ;)"
Cheryl, who recently performed with Gary at the Queens' Jubilee celebration concert at Buckingham Palace, responded: "Got you !! ;) see you soon !!!"
