A study has revealed that a staggering 83% of British women would rather their blokes earned more than them.
Despite X Factor star Tulisa recently claiming that she wouldn't be bothered about dating a man who earned less than her, it seems many of her fans might not agree.
The poll found that a staggering four out of five women do care about the size of their partner's pay packets. Only 12% out of the 500 questioned said that they didn't mind how much bacon their partners brought home and 5% said they would rather have the larger salaries themselves.
So X Factor star Tulisa is in the minority. "If I found someone who's a good guy that I get along with, I don't care what he does, and that goes for anything," she said. "I don't care if he works in McDonald's. The one is the one."

Nikki Howarth, who uses the site, admits she'd rather have a man of wealth.
"Powerful, successful men are confident and ultimately very sexy and these are the men I'm drawn to," Nikki says. "You need only look at best-selling novel 50 Shades of Grey to see that men like dominating entrepreneur Christian are a huge fantasy for women.
"A successful man knows what he wants, which is a great way to get a woman going – plus, he has enough cash to treat a lady too."
