Storms are headed our way next week so lots of us will be making the most of the good weather with a BBQ this weekend.
But while the old stereotype of men as grill-masters still lives on, a new survey by Asda has found that 67 per cent of women feel like they put in all the BBQ leg work – like buying the food and prepping the salad – and just let the men do the easy bit on the grill.
Twenty-five per cent of women go one further and cook the meat too.
Unsurprisingly, 78 per cent of men disagree and claim to do ALL the work when it comes to outdoor cooking.
But, as Asda's heat of meat quality Jim Viggars says, "summer isn't summer until you've had a good BBQ", so put those differences aside and enjoy your food!
What do you think: do you do all the hard work at the BBQ?
Does your man just sweep in and take the glory? Or is it a team effort? Let us know in the comments below!
