CANCER 22 June – 23 July
Someone will get a raise or promotion that should have gone to you. Try not to let your dismay show. Actually an executive is feeling threatened by your talent and ability. This VIP is afraid you will outshine them. Consequently, you should seriously think about jumping ship and working for the competition. Even better, opening your own business could be very profitable for you. Right now, you are too emotional to make any big decisions. Give yourself time to recuperate from this shock.

LEO 24 July – 23 August
Legal matters take an unexpected turn, forcing you to change your plans quite suddenly. Don't let your frustration show, or you will compound the problem. Someone is trying to push your buttons. By staying calm in the face of their outrageous behaviour, justice will prevail. It may take some time, but it will happen. Turn to a loving relative for support. Their words of wisdom will make you realise this is only a temporary situation. Don't let it spoil your enjoyment of life.

VIRGO 24 August – 23 September
A source of income dries up suddenly, which puts you in a difficult position. You won't be able to pay certain bills without finding a new source of money. Don't ask a friend to cover this shortfall. You may not realise it, but your loved one is experiencing financial difficulties of their own. Take comfort in the knowledge you will be able to cover your expenses, provided you take the independent route. Find a job that offers a better pay scale than the one you currently hold.

LIBRA 24 September – 23 October
A close relationship is undergoing a crisis. You're embarrassed by your partner's behaviour. Unfortunately, you are accused of being insensitive any time you try to address the problem. The best bet is a temporary separation. Continuing to attend functions together is compromising your reputation. Your partner's erratic outbursts will continue unless you issue an ultimatum. You hate having to resort to such a serious measure, but there is no other choice. If your friend refuses to get help or treatment, you may have to call it quits altogether.

SCORPIO 24 October – 22 November
A work assignment will be abruptly taken away from you. This is quite upsetting, because you thought you were doing a good job. The truth of the matter is you are a victim of sabotage. Someone who is threatened by your talent wants to make you look foolish. By refusing to get defensive, you'll withstand this attack. Have you been looking for work? Take care not to exaggerate your background. It's better to be honest about your experience than land a job that is beyond your ability.

SAGITTARIUS 23 November – 21 December
Beware of befriending an outcast. There is a reason this troublemaker can't get along with anyone. At first, you'll find their rebellious attitude refreshing. Eventually you will be embarrassed by their lack of etiquette. The last thing you need is to make excuses for someone who is always rude and inconsiderate. It's only a matter of time before they start asking for money. With friends like this, who needs enemies? Keep a healthy distance and don't be drawn into their personal drama.

CAPRICORN 22 December – 20 January
Resist the urge to walk away from a stressful situation. Abandoning a loved one will inflict permanent damage to your relationship. It's better to dig in your heels and communicate, even if it is painful. Part of the problem is the person in question is hypersensitive. If you criticise their behaviour, they'll fly off the handle. Begin your talk by saying you don't want to attack them, you just want to resolve your differences. Reassure them of your motives throughout the conversation.

AQUARIUS 21 January – 19 February
Beware of discussing personal matters at work, or these stories will come back to haunt you. If you're in a fight with a loved one, don't take their phone calls during office hours. Wait for your break to exchange words and go somewhere nobody can hear you. The last thing you need is to mix your personal and private lives. A relative or neighbour's erratic behaviour could start to concern you because you feel there should be something you can do or say, but maybe there isn't.

PISCES 20 February – 20 March
You can't afford to burn your bridges, especially where work is concerned. If you are self employed, you don't have to work for a problem client anymore. Just make sure not to spread tales of their misbehaviour. Such gossip will come back to haunt you. If someone asks if you had a good experience with this customer, say you'd prefer not to discuss it. Your polite refusal will speak volumes. Work is best found through personal contacts, rather than online applications.

ARIES 21 March – 20 April
Going against the grain makes you unpopular on the home front. Your relatives are embarrassed by your wild behaviour. Maybe it's time to tone things down a little. Although you hate blending in with the rest of the group, it's sometimes important to keep a low profile. Just because you think a ceremony is hypocritical or boring doesn't mean you should spoil it for everyone else. For now, keep your head down and your mouth shut. Your consideration will be much appreciated.

TAURUS 21 April – 21 May
Keep quiet about your eccentricities. Fitting in is critical to your success. If your relatives and neighbours think you are unusual, they will close ranks against you. That's incredibly unfair, but that's the way the world operates. Be careful of posting compromising pictures on social media sites, or they will fall into the wrong hands. If someone invades your privacy and discovers embarrassing information for you, it may be necessary to go public with the news. Expressing sincere remorse for misguided behaviour is critical.

GEMINI 22 May – 21 June
Stop asking for special treatment. You've been through an extraordinary experience, but that doesn't absolve you from following the rules. If you're having trouble with certain tasks, explain the situation to your boss. There will be a way for you to fulfil your responsibilities without creating work for everyone else. Merely bowing out of certain jobs will create resentment among your colleagues. That may not seem like a big deal now, but it will when you need their help.
