CANCER 22 June – 23 July
You're coming into your own and it feels great. No longer do you have to defer to pushy people. You'll be able to set the terms for your ideal work and living situations. Instead of doing everything at the last minute, you'll create a system whereby jobs get done in a calm, timely fashion. It won't be necessary to work without supplies, because you will already have stocked up on the essentials. Stop letting others wreak havoc with your careful preparations.

LEO 24 July – 23 August
You'll get favourable attention from some very important people. The powers that be appreciate your discretion with a sensitive matter. They've learned they can trust you in a crisis. Consequently, you could be given a raise or promotion. You might even get a nicer office or a hefty expense account. If you're looking for a job, this would be an excellent time to submit applications and go on job interviews. Your patience, calm and understanding make a good impression on prospective employers.

VIRGO 24 August – 23 September
An exciting opportunity beckons from overseas. This would be a great time to take an exotic trip or form a business alliance with a foreign company. Expanding your horizons will have both personal and professional benefits. Of course, you never begin an adventure without considerable preparation. Whether this means learning a new language, reading about a country's history, or reading a different newspaper is immaterial. The important thing is to welcome different ways of thinking, living and behaving.

LIBRA 24 September – 23 October
Listen carefully to what your business or romantic partner has to say. You have very strong ideas about what your next steps should be, but won't get much support for these proposals. In truth, you can benefit from a second opinion. You have a tendency to look at things in an ultra logical fashion, while your friend takes a more emotional approach. A heartfelt assessment of your needs is what is required now. Don't be afraid to go with your gut.

SCORPIO 24 October – 22 November
Spending time with your significant other will be rewarding. Lately, it feels like the whole world has been conspiring against you. Take comfort in the knowledge you have an advocate in your corner. By pouring out your heart to this friend, you'll be able to push past your anger and resentment. Suddenly, a new path will open for you. If you're single, reach out to your best friend. It's been a long time since the two of you had a heart to heart talk.

SAGITTARIUS 23 November – 21 December
It's best to take a detached approach to a health problem. The sooner you get treated for an ache or pain, the happier you will be. It's difficult not to get discouraged when your body experiences a setback. You've been through similar problems before. The more positive your outlook, the faster your recovery will be. Take comfort in the knowledge a special friend is willing to help you through this rough patch. Don't hesitate to call on this angel for assistance.

CAPRICORN 22 December – 20 January
As much as you hate to admit it, you love to be admired and applauded. Nobody in the organisation works harder than you. Unfortunately, your boss has begun to take you for granted. The only way to draw attention to your accomplishments is to scale back on the little extras you ordinarily perform out of kindness. Once these small jobs fall by the wayside, people will realise how much you've been contributing. Until then, stay focused on the projects that fall under your job description.

AQUARIUS 21 January – 19 February
You're very sensitive to your surroundings, so seek out positive situations and people. Stick close to an optimistic colleague who always makes you laugh. Together, you can make headway with a stubborn problem. You're good at arriving at innovative approaches, while your partner knows how to appease frustrated clients and customers. At home, you will be able to relax and release all the tension accumulated at work. Just pull down the blinds, turn off the phone and stay away from the computer.

PISCES 20 February – 20 March
When it comes to a romantic matter, listen to your head, not your heart. You have a soft spot for someone who keeps taking advantage of you. The more you excuse their bad behaviour, the worse it gets. You've got to draw a line in the sand. Instead of waiting around for your amour to show up for a meeting, go out and do something nice for yourself. Get a massage, treat yourself to a gourmet dinner, or schedule a solitary holiday.

ARIES 21 March – 20 April
An active person like you has difficulty slowing down and smelling the flowers. Creating a more comfortable home will make it easier to enjoy life's simpler pleasures. Give careful thought to your furnishings and artwork. Tactile materials, rich colours and soft lighting can make all the difference. If you're negotiating a property deal, don't be so quick to strike an agreement. The longer you hold out, the better you will fare. Wait a day or two before signing a binding agreement.

TAURUS 21 April – 21 May
You're feeling very adventurous and will schedule a short trip. Getting away from home will give you a fresh outlook. Take this opportunity to visit a friend who lives nearby. The two of you will enjoy reconnecting. You're thinking of making some changes to your household, but aren't sure where to begin. Witnessing how someone else conducts their home life will be helpful. Decide whether you want a more stimulating or relaxing household. Entertaining friends and neighbours could be an increasing trend.

GEMINI 22 May – 21 June
Adopt a low key approach to a financial problem. The less anxious you appear, the easier it will be to reach a resolution. If you can't pay a hefty bill, approach your creditor in a friendly manner. Express a desire to fulfil your obligation as quickly as possible. This may involve hammering out a long term repayment programme or a reduced interest rate. Although you will meet with some resistance at first, you'll eventually negotiate an agreement that works for both parties.
