CANCER 22 June – 23 July
Take pride in your individuality. You may not be interested in the latest trends, but you do have an affinity for older forms of art. That's perfectly fine. If it weren't for people like you, some of our greatest treasures would suffer from sheer neglect. Certain friends make fun of your obscure interests, but their teasing is really a form of affection. Try not to take their jokes personally. Maybe it's time to take a pilgrimage to a special museum or store that caters to your hobby.

LEO 24 July – 23 August
It's time to make a break from the past. That's difficult for a sentimental person like you, but it must be done. Things have changed since you were younger and you have to come to terms with these new ways. Whenever you find yourself longing for the 'good old days,' make a list of three modern innovations or trends you enjoy. This will give you a more balanced perspective. A sour relative will try to make you feel shallow. Tune out their nasty comments.

VIRGO 24 August – 23 September
A creative block is driving you to distraction. Normally, you're brimming with brilliant ideas. Now it's difficult to perform even routine tasks. This is a sign of burnout. The only way to combat this condition is to get a change of pace. Take the day off, spend some time outdoors, or visit a nearby friend. If you're not able to get away from work, lower your expectations. Nobody performs at the optimum level all the time. If you don't know the answer to a question, admit it.

LIBRA 24 September – 23 October
Your true worth has nothing to do with your bank balance. It's determined by how well you treat others. Are you a force for positivity or do you spread darkness wherever you go? Do people seek out your company, or do they avoid you at all costs? If you've been feeling depressed, spend more time on the activities you enjoy: dancing, drawing, designing clothes; it's so important to have an outlet for your imagination. Give yourself permission to make mistakes, so that your ugly ducklings can grow into swans.

SCORPIO 24 October – 22 November
Adopting a healthier self-image is critical to your happiness. Stop comparing yourself to some magazine ideal that is virtually impossible to attain. Even supermodels have bad hair days. Pay careful attention to your inner critic. Turn negative remarks into affirmations. Admire your most attractive attributes and draw attention to them whenever possible. Give thanks for the days you are feeling healthy and treat your body to the nourishing food it deserves. Individuals come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Embrace your unique beauty. It makes you special.

SAGITTARIUS 23 November – 21 December
Face your fear. Whether you hate confrontation, intimacy, or criticism is immaterial. The important thing is to acknowledge you are being held prisoner by your discomfort. If you hate confrontation, get in the habit of challenging a statement once each day. Does the prospect of intimacy scare you? Ask for help with a complicated project. Is it difficult for you to hear criticism? Ask for feedback and don't get defensive when it's given. You'll soon overcome your anxieties.

CAPRICORN 22 December – 20 January
It's time to build a new dream. The goal you've been pursuing for so long seems unattainable. Giving in with good grace is critical to your happiness. It's hard for an overachiever like you to admit defeat. Until you do, you won't be able to take advantage of some golden opportunities ahead. Many successful people have encountered such obstacles. Only when they were willing to shift gears were they able to see the bigger picture. Walk away from a dead end project and allow yourself time to heal.

AQUARIUS 21 January – 19 February
You could find you're being made the scapegoat for someone else's misdeeds or incompetence. It will be hard to shake off these accusations, but try anyway. The key is to stay calm when you are challenged. Ultimately, people know you're a trustworthy, compassionate person who would never deliberately hurt anyone else. Your reputation will remain intact. A level-headed relative will help you through this stressful situation. Listen carefully to their words of wisdom.

PISCES 20 February – 20 March
Attempts at self-improvement are falling flat. Give yourself a break. You might have set the bar too high. It's more realistic to take baby steps towards your goal. If you're trying to lose weight, focus on altering eating habits, rather than dropping pounds. Substituting carrot sticks for crisps won't make an immediate difference to your waistline, but it will be a step in the right direction. If you're having difficulty with anger management issues visit a health professional who specialises in this field.

ARIES 21 March – 20 April
Problems with intimacy need to be addressed. If you're in a relationship and have lost interest in lovemaking, find the reason why. Your lack of interest could hurt your partner. Are you single but have difficulty finding romance? It's possible you are sending out forbidding signals. Be more open with others. You don't have to compromise security for companionship. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to let your guard down when you're out in public. If someone smiles at you, smile back.

TAURUS 21 April – 21 May
It feels like you're not getting the consideration you deserve from a partner. Instead of making angry accusations, try a gentle approach. Explain how their behaviour makes you feel and give concrete examples. Outline a plan of action that will make you feel valued. For instance, if your loved one is perpetually late, ask to be phoned or texted within a certain time frame. Are you offended when your lover expresses sexual admiration for others? Ask them to keep these thoughts to themselves.

GEMINI 22 May – 21 June
Time management is your biggest challenge. Lately, it's been difficult to meet tight deadlines. Instead of blaming the trouble on others, seek to reform some bad habits. Don't let yourself relax until you've done what has to be done. Avoid gossiping with colleagues when you could be making progress towards your goal. Above all don't send personal emails until you've checked off several items on your list of things to do. A few simple adjustments are all that's necessary to beat the clock.
