Baby Max and his little tuft of hair didn't seem to care that his paddling pool was only just bigger than him as he enjoyed taking a swim this week.
And it wasn't long before his older pals got in on the action too.
Thanks to the sunny weather of late, the zookeepers at Whipsnade decided to treat their elephants to their very own outdoor pool and water baby Max was more than happy to jump right in.
Who knew taking a bath could be so much fun!
Speaking about their little Asian elephant, head keeper Lee Sambrook said: "Bath time is one of Max's favourite activities so we knew he'd love his own paddling pool to splash around in."
Making sure they didn't miss out, Max's friends made sure to get their fet wet too and it wasn't long before our little man took a drenching by his herd.
But when they're not splashing about poolside, Max and the rest of the elephants are proudly strolling the grounds at Whipsnade and Twitter user @rauhlsrose was lucky enough to get a front row seat.
It's like The Jungle Book has come to life in front of our very eyes looking at this adorable photo of the elephants lined up trunk-to-tail.
Who remembers the elephant march? Hup two, three, four...
Seeing as this Tuesday (12 August) marked World Elephant Day, what better way to celebrate these beautiful creatures than these sweet snaps!
