Baby hippo just one-week-old is given helping nudge from mum!

This little hippopotamus just couldn't stretch her legs far enough to climb out of her pool - so her mum gave her a helping nudge!

The endangered Pygmy hippo had taken a dip at Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, Florida, but found herself in difficulty when trying to step onto dry land.

Luckily, her watchful mum was following behind and was able to lift her out using her snout. Bless!

The female hippo was only born at the zoo last week, and she is still yet to be named. She is mum Zsa Zsa's second baby and her birth is very important for the planet.

Dr Larry Killmar, Vice President of animal science and conservation at the zoo, said: "With fewer than 3,000 pigmy hippos in the wild, each birth is vital if we have any hope of saving this truly unique species."

What a little cutie!
