On Thursday (23 June), the reality star turned mum-of-one Sam took to Instagram to share an adorable snap of baby Paul at a casting but her feed was inundated with comments from people who think that the tot is way too young to model.
Sam captioned her post, "My baby on his casting today #proudmama," and even though the likes came flooding in, so did the messages criticising Sam's decision to take Paul to the casting.
"As I'm sure he would rather be at home playing with his his toys than on some daft photoshoot," wrote one Insta-user while another, who agreed wholeheartedly, said, "The word "casting" is competitive and greedy. Purely money making. Children don't need extra pressure when growing up. When does it stop."
In the picture, baby Paul seems content on the floor as he looks at the playful photographer. Sam can be seen cheering her son on with a huge smile on her face in the corner, showing us just how proud she is.
Despite all of the criticism, the majority of Sam's followers jumped to her defence, and many believed that there was absolutely nothing wrong with little Paul having his picture taken professionally.
"It looks like he's being made a real fuss of there - just look at his proud mum's face! Nothing poor about that baby, he's just having his eyes opened to a new experience, which I think is a good thing," wrote one.
Another user chipped in, "Don't get the issue here! My baby boy has been signed up to an agency and has his photo shoot next week, it's so exciting! If he shows signs of not liking it id stop it straight away! I'm sure baby Paul is just fine. Get over it people x."
Sam hasn't replied to any of the comments personally but it's plain to see that both mother and baby had a right hoot on the shoot.
That said, this isn't the first time that Sam's parenting skills have been blasted on social media. Not long ago, some of Sam's Instagram followers mentioned that they were offended by a picture of her breastfeeding the tot and last month she came under fire for the way that Paul was strapped into his baby carrier.
Talking to OK magazine, Sam denied doing anything wrong and hit back, "I think every mum has their own way of doing things, just let them be and let them do it, like every mum is a first time mum at one point in their life and I didn't think I was doing anything wrong and the majority of people didn't."
