The British Soap Awards took place last night (28 May) and naturally we got MAJOR dress envy over some of the red carpet looks, with Lacey Turner, Jacqueline Jossa and Vicky Pattison all leading the way in the style stakes.

Red was a big trend at the swanky event, with a number of the actresses opting to wear this bold hue. Jacqueline Jossa - who is gearing up for her return to EastEnders - went for a floor-length strapless number, which she teamed with drop earrings and flowing locks for an elegant finish.

Meawnwhile Zoe Lucker, who plays Reenie McQueen in Hollyoaks, chose to wear a satin scoop neck number and went for full-on glamour with smoky eyes, a rouge pout and a sexy up 'do.

Coronation Street's Kym Marsh continued with the red theme in a flowing floor-skimming dress that clung perfectly to show off her hourglass figure and featured a flattering sweetheart neckline.

Lacey Turner skipped the trend but looked equally as good in a simple buttercup yellow shift dress and pointed nude heels. Holding a box clutch and donning glossy brown waves, the actress scooped up a whopping three awards throughout the evening for her performance as Stacey Fowler in EastEnders.

The 28-year-old was awarded with Best Actress, Best Female Dramatic Performance and Best Storyline - what a girl!

Vicky Pattison also made an appearance at the glitzy event, which was held at Hackney Town Hall, London. The Geordie lass looked dressed to kill in a blush-toned cut-out dress that featured a sexy side split. Check out that mega bouncy blowdry, too. Jel!

It was a big night for Emmerdale as Danny Miller - who plays Aaron Livesy - was awarded both Best Actor and Best Male Dramatic Performance. Not stopping there, the show also took the big one - Best Soap - for the first ever time. Nice work, everyone!
