Did Khloe Kardashian get told off for wearing this see-through outfit on The Ellen DeGeneres Show?

Khloe Kardashian was made to change her outfit before an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in New York earlier this week because it was just too revealing for TV!

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is famed for her rather risqué ensembles including boob-baring frocks, skin tight cropped tops and bottom-hugging leggings but the dress she chose to wear on the talk show set tongues wagging even before she had stepped out onto the stage.

Khloe took to Instagram to show off the stunning nude number - Balmain, of course - but it was completely see-through and her undies were actually on full display. Oo-er!

KoKo captioned the snap, "Yesterday's look I rocked all Balmain. Thank you @monicarosestyle for the sick fit. Monica added a slip to the image on the left because it was a little too sheer for TV [...] we kept it beige tones for the Ellen Show."

It seems TV bosses told Khloe that the designer dress was a little too raunchy for daytime television which prompted stylist Monica Rose to search for a slip dress in a bid to cover her modesty, before she could even step in front of the cameras.

We think the slip makes her ensemble look a little more chic which was also the consensus of Khloe's Instagram followers but some found the situation - and Khloe's very honest caption - a little embarrassing!

One of Khloe's fans wrote, "Awkward, awkward, awkward," while another said, "Great idea with the slip under the skirt!! Not a good look the one on the right but left you're on point! Beautiful woman!!"

Do we think the reality babe will cover up a little bit more after the run in? Absolutely not. Keep doing your thing, KK.
