Is pop singer Taylor Swift trying to shake off her sugary-sweet, good girl image? Her latest look seems to suggest so!

The Shake It Off songstress rocked up to pal Gigi Hadid's birthday party at The Nice Guy Restaurant in Los Angeles yesterday evening but instead of donning a floral frock or a feminine flippy hem skirt she decided to make a huge style statement with this ultra-vampy, moody vibe.

In fact, we almost didn't recognise her when she stepped out of her blacked out car! Taylor, is that really you?

The starlet - who was joined by pals Kylie and Kendall Jenner and model Hailey Baldwin - dressed her pout in a slick of matte burgundy lippie and she showed off her incredible physique in this sequin-splashed, asymmetric dress that boasted a netted black tutu skirt.

Even though Gigi was the birthday girl, it's safe to say Taylor - and her almost white tresses - stole her thunder! She stood tall in a pair of punk-y, chunky black boots that accentuated her near-perfect pins.

Earlier this month, Tay Tay drew gasps from die-hard fans as she fronted the cover of Vogue USA with Lady Gaga-inspired bleached brows and a much shorter platinum crop.

Many of her followers took to Instagram to share their thoughts on Taylor's changing look but not everyone was sold.

One wrote, "NOOOO don't change!" while another said, "You have such class and beauty...play with new styles but don't let them transform you. You don't see Anna [Wintour] with bleached out hair."

Is this really the end of Taylor's cutesy style as we know it? Only time will tell...
