Throwback Thursday! Proof that Kim Kardashian didn't always look so chic

Kim Kardashian is, arguably, one of the world's biggest fashion icons thanks to her love of slinky dresses, longline camel coats and chunky square frames - in fact, our wardrobe is basically modelled after hers.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians superstar has graced the covers of Cosmopolitan, ELLE and The Rolling Stone looking nothing short of flawless - and that's pretty much a fact - but believe it or not, she never used to be so utterly chic.

Looking back through the fashion archives, Reveal stumbled across THIS gem of a snap which shows Kimmy at the Entourage premiere in Los Angeles in 2006. To put it into perspective, that's pre-Kanye, North and Saint - obvs - and before her reality show had even properly left the ground.

A world without KUWTK?! No - we refuse to imagine it.

Kim - who, today, is a permanent fixture on best dressed lists everywhere - is seen sporting a rather unusual shirt-come-skater dress with sleeves that look like they've been eaten by months (just saying what we see, okay?) and a matching flippy hem skirt.

We don't even want to touch on the open collar - AHHH! It's all a bit too much for a Thursday afternoon.

To make matters a touch worse (totally possible, guys) Kim sported a pair of matching rope espadrilles at the event - and even though we were all wearing them back in the day - they only saw to cut off her teeny tiny pins.

That said, Kim did keep her look entirely monotone - a sleek, fashion-savvy rule she sticks by even today. But that doesn't mean we approve of her punched shoulder bag, oh no, oh no.

Luckily for Kim and the rest of the world, she discovered make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic and stylist Monica Rose shortly after this pic was taken and it only took them both ten years to transform her into the otherworldly gorgeous starlet we know and love today.

Phew. We need a few minutes to recover.
