Emma Bunton stepped out in London on Tuesday afternoon (17 November) looking ever-so-chic in a ruby red coat, 70s style hat and studded ankle boots. Wardrobe envy alert!

When it comes to cold-weather dressing, it's all about putting a twist on traditional styles because when it comes down to it, jeans and a jacket is going to be a staple weekend look for most of us.

Emma transformed her everyday basics into a lust worthy look in different ways. Firstly, the radio presenter invested in a statement coat that ensured her outfit instantly looked colourful. Jewel tones like Emma's ruby hue are a great choice, they're muted enough not to overwhelm outfits, but are still eye-catching.

Former Spice Girl Emma also gave us some style inspiration with her 70's style hat. For the colder months it's an easy way to add an edge to your ensemble and stay warm at the same time. Look out for one like Emma's that has a more structured shape than the floppy, boho summer styles.

Ankle boots are always on trend, but this year the classic styles faces stiff competition from those suede thigh-high styles every celeb has been stepping out in. We reckon Emma's studded creations are a pretty strong rival though.

Emma made like Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall and slung a khaki tote bag over her arm to complete the appropriately festive green and red look. We love seeing commitment to a theme!

Where was Emma headed looking so stylish? Well, the gorgeous blonde had a very festive destination indeed. In fact, this is probably the second most Christmassy form of transport there is. After Santa's sleigh, obvs.

Holidays are coming, holidays are coming! Yep, Emma paid a visit to the iconic Coca-Cola truck in London's Leicester Square and snapped an obligatory selfie.
