Fast forward to today and the reality star has followed in the footsteps of co-star Lauren Pope and Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby to design a whole hoard of ready-to wear pieces for fashion hub In The Style, including fierce party frocks and seriously luxe looking playsuits - and we want every single piece.
Here, the blonde beauty talks Reveal through her newest and most exciting venture yet.
The collection is finally here! What are your favourite pieces from the drop?
My favourite party piece is the bandage, bodycon dress with the lace-up front and I love the 70s paisley dress with the floaty sleeves. The off the shoulder jumpers are really cool and the playsuit with all the buttons on them are so me – these are the pieces I've been wearing to death lately!
Why did you decide to team up with In The Style in particular?
I really liked the idea that I could be heavily involved in the design process and that's what won me over. They got it so right with me. During our first design meeting you could tell that they had done so much research and it felt right – it gave me that boost and that confidence.
I took items of clothing I like to wear along to meetings and I got a lot of inspiration from Instagram, too. Obviously I'm involved with Minnie's, so I gave them a few tips and pointers on what sells really well!
What does your In The Style range mean for Minnie's Boutique? Will the shop be taking a backseat?
We're really lucky because Minnie's is exclusively selling the clothes and it's the only boutique that will. I'm not sure it will be in store by Christmas but it's so great because Minnie's is my shop and this is my collection; they just work together.
The Minnie's customer is the In The Style customer – the designs are exactly what they want. They're going to love the party dresses and the knitwear.
How do you think your collection differs from Lauren Pope's or Binky Felstead's because they are all part of the In The Style fashion crew, too?
My collection is very party-party and glamourous, for the girl who loves to dress up in the evening. All of us including Charlotte Crosby too, bring something different to the website and it works well. Charlotte loves her slogan T-shirts, Binky's collection is boho and chilled and Lauren's is very high-fashion, very her. It's nice that we bring something different to In The Style.
From your collection, what would you wear on:
A date? The red halterneck-cowel neck bodycon dress, definitely!
A night out with the girls? My black bodycon dress with the lace up neckline, that's gorgeous.
A family day out? The paisley dress or my high neck dress which comes with a lovely belt. We have that in khaki green and an oxblood colour. It's knitted and you can wear it with boots – really casual but cool.
Do you have any fashion regrets?
When I first joined the show and started getting papped – oh gosh! At the time you think you look really good but as fashion and style changes, oh dear.
The one outfit that always springs to mind is this blue kaftan dress. I wore it with tan ankle boots that had the same blue in them and it was all just really odd!
Fashion isn't entirely brand new to you, but what would you say to those who are less supportive of your new venture with ITS?
Don't buy it! I would never, ever Tweet anyone back though. You'll never see me argue with a person but nine times out of ten they are doing it to get your attention and to get a response. But it's fine because I know that not everyone is going to like my style.
For people that do like my style, I feel confident that we've got it very right. There might be pieces in the collection that people don't like and pieces which they love. There's something for everyone, no matter what your body shape.
That's really refreshing!
Yes! In the design process I made sure that the designs would flatter girls with curves. I've got boobs and a bum so I wanted things to be cut right. If you don't like your arms, there are things with sleeves and if you don't like your legs you can pick up a jumpsuit.
Any shape or size will look great in an off the shoulder jumper and maternity wear is definitely something that I'd think about in the future. We've spoken about it so I'd love to do it - watch this space!
