The movie, starring Lily James as Cinderella, Richard Madden as Prince Charming and Cate Blanchett as the Wicked Stepmother, has some beautiful visuals and even more beautiful costumes. So it's only expected that the fashion world has fallen for the new updated version of the fairytale story.
Oscar-winning costume designer, Sandy Powell took the reins on the new film, creating some stunning costumes for the characters. Nine versions of Cinderella's blue ball gown were made taking over 500 hours to complete, using a whopping 270 yards of fabric for each dress. Not your average party dress then...
The infamous glass slippers from the movie were actually made from Swarovski crystal, with over seven million of them being used for the costumes all together. They were even used in Lily's beautiful hair dos' during the film - now thats a lot of sparkle!
Everything about the new movie was stunning from the costumes to the sets, so we thought we would put together our own Cinderella-inspired selection. We have taken our pick of the most magical pieces the high-street has to offer, so you can have a go at adding some princess touches to your outfits and beauty regime too.
