Gaga, who recently got engaged to fiance Taylor Kinney, did what Gaga does best at the 87th Academy Awards on Sunday night (22 February) – got everyone talking about her red carpet look... for both good and bad reasons.
After watching everyone from Anna Kendrick and Lupita Nyong'o through to Emma Stone and Felicity Jones arrive at the Oscars which were held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, Lady Gaga then swept her way on to the red carpet in a custom Alaia dress.
It was the first time Paris-based designer Azzedine Alaia had ever custom-made a dress for a celebrity on the Oscars red carpet, but it's one that will never be forgotten as there was practically a gasp from the crowds when the 'Born This Way' singer showed it off.
The voluminous white gown took 25 people almost 10 weeks to make and we have to admit, it's really quite amazing.
Her hair also looked fabulous, worn in a sleek simple ponytail, and we loved her classic Hollywood glam make-up...
But it wouldn't be Gaga without a little Gaga madness thrown in for good measure, now would it?
And that, dear friends is what we got.
OK, so we're not talking about anything even close to her infamous 'meat' moment, but what on earth is going on with those gloves?
Was she inspired by George Clooney's wife Amal who wore stunning white gloves to the recent Golden Globes? If so, she's way off with these red, elbow-length, flappy numbers that look more fitting for the kitchen sink than for Hollywood's most glamorous night of the year!
But we have to love them for their ridiculousness. And hey, at least she matched them to her lippy!
