And while it might have been raining in Tinseltown, there was not a damp squib of an outfit to be seen!
Presented for the third and final time by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, the Golden Globes are undoubtedly our favourite awards of the year because not only do they set the bar for future red carpet trends, but they're generally a right old boozy affair!
Around 400 magnums of Moët & Chandon champagne are set out at the guests' tables and hundreds of mini bottles of Moët Impérial are passed out on the red carpet, making the Globes a much more relaxed affair than some of the other awards ceremonies we won't mention.
And when it came to this years' fabulous frocks? Well, we weren't disappointed with a stunning array of plunging necklines, monochrome, sequins, pockets and block colour gowns.
First off, we couldn't help but give a huge shout out to power couple George and Amal Clooney who totally killed it on the red carpet. Two words... white gloves.
There was also plenty of colour, loads of silver, feathers, diamonds and more bobs and side-partings than you could shake a glamorous stick at!
