Week seven of The X Factor has come and gone and this time the contestants pulled out all the stops with a mix of Whitney Houston and Elton John classics.

On Saturday evening (22 November), the aspiring singers took to the stage to sing their hearts out, while showcasing a whole host of fierce stage outfits thanks to head stylist Gemma Lucy Sheppard and her team.

Lauren Platt lit up the stage as she busted a move to Whitney Houston's 'How Will I Know?' (and her little brother danced alongside her too - aww!). The 17-year-old made a style statement in blue-wash jeans by Marc Jacobs, which were covered with colourful stickers, teamed with a red crop top by JadedLDN. Her red crop was actually custom-made especially for the evening, but for a similar look we heart this pink floral version, £32.

Only The Young may have been voted out later that evening, but they still wowed with their kooky rendition of Elton John's 'Something About The Way You Look Tonight'. Betsy-Blue English (second from left) paired her black crop top, £8 from, with a striking pair of wet-look trousers, £35 from Topshop, and pristine white Nike trainers.

Meanwhile, Parisa Tarhomani (far right) glittered in a shimmering green crop T-shirt, £22 from Topshop, which was customised with the letters 'OTY', along with a pair of leather-look trousers, £29 also from Topshop.

And Fleur East was joined on stage by her friends and family as she belted out Whitney Houston's 'I'm Every Woman'. The songstress dazzling in a sexy, plunging silver bodycon dress by designer Hervé Leger, while pulling off her usual dance moves in barely-there strappy sandals by Saint Laurent.
