We never thought we'd see it coming, but the bumbag is officially hot stuff on the fashion circuit.

Not only have we spotted Kylie Jenner sporting hers while looking glam in the fields of Coachella, Irish style icon Laura Whitmore also named the humble fanny pack as one of her festival essentials, calling it "fashionable and yet practicable".

So, naturally, we NEED to get in on the action, but we won't be spending oodles of dosh on a fancy designer version - there are heaps of amazing buys on the high street to choose from!

Check out our top picks below...

Neon Jewel Bumbag by Jaded London at Topshop, £28

Neon Jewel Bumbag by Jaded London, £28 from Topshop

There's nothing wrong with adding a bit of glitz to your bumbag. For a look that really packs a punch, try this jewel printed version by Jaded London at Topshop. We heart the neon colours, plus it's big enough to store your purse, phone and all those 'just in case' items you can't do without!

American Apparel Bum Bag in Light Wash Denim, £20, ASOS

Light Wash Denim Bumbag by American Apparel, £20 from ASOS

Ditch your fail-safe jeans and wear your denim on your bag instead. We love the retro vibe of this pale-wash number, which would look amazing paired with a chic white ensemble. If indigo denim is more you're thing, there's a dark-wash version too.

ASOS Pieces Lili Canvas Bumbag, £19

Pieces Lili Canvas Bumbag, £19 from ASOS

Nail two trends in one by rocking an Aztec print on your bumbag. We love this cute boho coral and white tapestry design, which looks like something you might have picked up from an exotic location on your gap year travels. It's got two zipped pockets and an inner compartment, making it great for keeping your valuables safe.

Topshop Quilted Bumbag, £22

Quilted bumbag, £22 from Topshop

As far as bumbags go, this is probably those most sophisticated one we've seen. The soft quilted design is simple yet chic and it's a decent size too, so it'll fit pretty much all your everyday essentials. Plus you can always carry it in your hand if you want to look a little dressier!

Vintage Renewal Bumbag, £15, Urban Outfitters

Vintage Renewal Bumbag, £15 from Urban Outfitters

Go back to the 1990s with this vintage number, which features heaps of pockets to ensure your daytime must-haves stay organised. Team with pale blue mom jeans and a white crop top for a retro look.

New Look Faux Leather Bumbag, £9.99, ASOS

Faux Leather Bumbag by New Look, £9.99 from ASOS

Go low-key by opting for a simple all-black version. Add a touch of pizzazz with a faux leather texture - try this bargain number from New Look at ASOS. You can't go wrong with black - it'll go with absolutely anything, whether you love to rock bright, statement outfits or chic mono separates.

ASOS Spiral Harvard Bum Bag, £10

Spiral Harvard Bumbag, £10 from ASOS

We're a little bit obsessed with galaxy prints at the moment, so why not wear the look on your bag?! This one is actually from the ASOS men's department, but us ladies can totally rock it too!

LYDC Mono Stripe Bumbag, £15, BANK Fashion

LYDC Mono Stripe Bumbag, £15 from BANK Fashion

Every fashionista has some monochrome stripes stashed away in her wardrobe, so it's hardly surprising we love this black and white number with gold hardware. It's not too big and it would look gorgeous paired with a black bodycon dress to give your look a touch of interest.
