The novelty red and yellow pieces are instantly recognisable as new creative director Jeremy Scott's designs for the fashion house, which are heavily inspired by burger joint McDonald's.
Never one to turn her nose up at a new trend, Katy flew the Moschino flag as she stepped out at the U-Express Live press conference in Japan on Sunday (2 March).
Katy opted for an oversized jumper dress with long sleeves which read 'Moschino over 20 billion served'.
Unfortunately it's not quite as purse-friendly as a Happy Meal, retailing at an eye-watering £492. Gulp.
Not one to do things by half, Katy also toted the matching quilted handbag which featured an 'M' on the front, plus a red and yellow chain strap.
It's certainly not the most versatile bag and, at £699, it's not the cheapest either, but it certainly turns heads, right Katy?
The songstress completed her look with a blunt bob and bright red lips, accessorising with a striped hair bow and red heels.
But Katy's not the only one with a soft spot for Jeremy's new designs. We first spotted them on Anna Dello Russo, editor-at-large of Vogue Japan, who sported exactly the same outfit last month (21 February) during Milan Fashion Week.
She even had the matching iPhone case...
Rita's a fan too after posing up a storm in the kitsch pieces for the cover of Ketchup Magazine in Hong Kong.
The 'Facemelt' singer covered her modesty with the oversized jersey tee, £187, along with the small leather handbag, £479.
Love it or loathe it, we have a feeling we'll be seeing many more celebs rocking this kooky collection. Let's just be thankful no one dared to wear it on the Oscars red carpet...!
