Now, the former Coronation Street star's dream has come true as she's releasing her autumn 2014 clothing range for Lipsy this Thursday (3 July).
Reveal chatted to the starlet about her exciting new venture and her top style tips, along with her health advice and plans for her upcoming wedding.
She also let us in on her daily make-up essentials, including the £5.49 secret behind those lengthy, fluttery lashes!
Tell us about your new collection for Lipsy...
"I've gone for quite plain, tailored looks which are also feminine. I've included a similar dress to the green dress I wore to the National Television Awards 2014, but in blue. I actually designed the NTAs dress alongside Philip Armstrong. So, for my collection, I tried to incorporate what I liked, whether that be a red carpet, day or night look."
Who is your celeb fashion idol?
"Victoria Beckham is my inspiration, just for the fact she is very feminine yet clean with what she does. Her outfits are neat and tailored, and that's what I like in an outfit. I wish I had some style tips from Victoria Beckham!"
Can you pass us on a few style tips of your own?
"I think you should be confident and comfortable with what you're wearing. If you're not comfortable, don't wear it, because you can always tell, even in how you hold yourself.
"I like jumpsuits because if they fit well they can look very classy. I like the tailored suit look as well - tight pants with a nice top tucked in and a suit jacket. I also love bodycon cocktail dresses, not too short though, usually just above or below the knee."
What's your fave and least fave feature?
"I don't mind my arms, because I do have slim arms. I'm not going to say what I like to hide though, because I don't want to focus on it!"
Number one health tip?
"My top health tip is to have everything in moderation. I think a lot of people panic and crash diet, which is so bad for your body. Just take everything in moderation. If you want a doughnut, eat the doughnut, but for the rest of the night be good. That's all it is really. People think they need to go on a big detox, juicing or crash diets, and they don't help. They certainly don't help me anyway.
"My weakness is savoury foods, like packet soup noodles or noodles in general, cheese... anything savoury or salted and I'll have it! Anchovies are another one. I keep craving them at the moment! And I keep having artichokes. The marinated ones are gorgeous in salads."
What are your must-have beauty products?
"I use Giorgio Armani foundation, just because it's not too thick on my skin. I like Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder, £23.50, as well, because it's dark rather than orange, so you get a more natural tan. I also wear Ardell Demi Wispies False Lashes, £5.49, and Benefit Brow Zings Brow Shaping Kit, £24.50."
You recently moved from Manchester to Essex - who do you think has the best style, northern or southern girls?
"My style hasn't changed since moving down south. I think people down south can dress and look really good. It's hard. They're both stylish in their own rights. I think northerners look cool in the day, whereas southerners are more glamorous with their day looks. Then when northerners go out in the evening I'd say they get glammed up more."
You're engaged to Mark Wright - have you started planning the wedding yet?
"We haven't really discussed the wedding day much. We have a venue and a date but because we've both been so busy, we haven't spoken about the other details yet. But we want it to be a close wedding with family, because that's what it's all about... family."
The Lipsy Love Michelle Keegan collection is available from 3 July at Lipsy.co.uk and at all UK Lipsy stores, with prices ranging from £28 to £85.
