With all the new spring trends popping up all over the high street, there's bound to be a few tricky ones to pull off but the celebs and our stylists show you ways to wear them.
The wide leg trouser is a perfect example, looking chic on the stars but often avoided, this new updated trouser style is one we can all wear.
The gorgeous Elle Macpherson, styles up her stripe pair with chic all black accessories. She proves that you don't have to go super tight on your top half either by wearing a boxy style jacket.
The key to wearing them is all about the heels. Add extra inches to your legs with a pair of heeled shoes, and keep them from dragging on the floor.
You can get away with any style show with these baggy trousers but a classic court is always a winner, just like our fashion assistant wears with hers.
Here's how she styled up her wide leg trousers.
Denim shirt, £32, Topshop
Stripe trousers, £32, Miss Selfridge
Grey heels, £35, M&S
Pink bag, £12.99, New Look (in store)
Harriet says: "I normally stick to my skinny jeans, but I'm loving the new wide leg trousers trend for spring. These vertical stripe pairs are perfect for evening out the wide leg style, and they look just as good with a shirt for day as they do with a crop top for evening. I think these are going to be my new season saviours."
The high street has got the wide leg trousers covered with loads of colours and prints to choose from.
These check print ones from Zara here will be perfect with a polo neck top for now and a clashing print stripe top for spring.
