With festival season still in full swing, we can't help but think about tassels, embellishment and fringing.
We went along to Lovebox in London's Victoria Park this weekend with the Miss Selfridge PR team, and with so many amazing outfits to spot we were in fash heaven.
Headline act M.I.A went for a gold embellishment outfit. With gold being a key trend for AW14 we'll definitely be getting our hands on some glitzy pieces and M.I.A shows us we can wear it already.
The high street has already jumped on the golden trend, Jovonna at Topshop has this gorge gold pleated skirt get it here . Or, if you want just a touch of gold go for a detail top like this pretty scalloped one from Oasis we'll be wearing ours with denim shorts for festival and with a pencil skirt for night, get it here.
It's all about a good festival outfit, it's the perfect time to get dressed up and any rules go. Our fashion assistant, Harriet Davey also went for an embellished outfit for the event, here's what she wore.
Harriet says: "I'm in love with this gorgeous embellished kimono it's such a staple piece. I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit simple so that it stood out, so I went for lace insert shorts with a 90's vibe khaki crop top. A gold necklace and ankle boots were all I needed to complete the look."
With khaki being a key colour for AW14, this cool crop is a bargain at £8 and will be sure to see you from festival to bar, and back again. We want them in every colour, and at this price we can!
Harriet's Miss Selfridge outfit:
Gold kimono, £95
Khaki top, £8 (in store)
Lace shorts, £25 (in store)
Hand chain, £8.50 (in store)
Festivals aren't over yet and we love seeing all the different looks. For a perfect outfit go for the crop and shorts teamed with stacked jewellery and braided festival hair (ideal for covering up unwashed locks.)
See you for more festival fun soon!
