The Hunger Games beauty first revealed her hair switch-up on Wednesday (30 November) in Madrid, when she attended a photocall for her new movie Passengers in which she stars with Chris Pratt (below).
Dressed in monochrome and with sexy, smoky eyes to match, Jennifer looked stunning with her new, warm golden extensions which she wore loose and softly styled into barely-there waves.
We hear her new do was created by Riawna Capri and Nikki Lee at celebrity salon go-to Nine Zero One in West Hollywood. And that surprises us not one bit because those ladies have been responsible for many an A-List hair-over, including Julianne Hough, Vanessa Hudgens and Modern Family's Sarah Hyland.
Fact: JLaw's is right up there with the rest of them.
A day later on Thursday (1 December), Jen stepped onto our shores and worked her extensions into this amazing reverse French plait (top and below).
Major. Hair. Goals.
To copy JLaw's look, first, apply mousse to towel-dried hair then roughly dry it all over to create texture and body. For extra volume, tong random sections, then gently backcomb at the roots only.
Next, braid your hair into a loose reverse French plait. To do this, you simply work each section under, rather than over the last one.
Braid down to the ends, fix with a band, then gently stretch the sides of the plait to thicken it, pulling a few strands out as you go for a cool, slightly dishevelled look.
Finish with a spritz of hairspray to hold everything in place. We love Charles Worthington Diamond Shine Hair Spray, £6.99, boots.com which gives that all-important, red carpet shine as well as plenty of hold.
