Love Island star Sophie Gradon never looks anything short of flawless in her Instagram selfies but what if we told you her glowing skin isn't all down to great genes or an arsenal of eye-wateringly expensive foundations?

Well you'd better believe it!

Over the weekend, the reality star and fashion know-it-all took to Snapchat to lift the lid on the make-up hacks she swears by for Instagram-ready skin, and even though she loves a luxe buy or two (like Kim Kardashian Giorgio Armani's Luminous Silk Foundation is one of her ultimate faves), she's a huge fan of purse-pleasing high-street buys, too.

We always knew she was a bargain hunter at heart!

Like co-star Kady McDermott, Sophie shared her beautifying routine with us and revealed that she can't get enough of Soap & Glory's Hocus Pocus Instant Visual Flaw-Softening Illuminator £11, but instead of just slathering it on to her cheekbones, she actually mixes it with her foundation base and applies it ALL over for an otherworldly, lit-from-within glow.

Clever, right?!

"It's like a primer, softens any flaws," Sophie captioned a short clip which showed her merging the two products in an an old candle jar (savvy - we like!) before telling fans that it's "AMAZING!"

In another Snap, Sophie simply used a flat foundation brush to apply both beauty buys directly to her face, and for those of you on a budget, she revealed that Rimmel's Wake Me Up Foundation (a bargain at £8.99) is just as fantastic as any high-end base.

Even her make-up obsessed Twitter followers were sold on the skin-illuminating idea and it wasn't long before they shared their thoughts.

"Love your new foundation idea! Really wanna try it!" wrote one Twitter user, while another said, "Thank you beaut! Definitely gonna try this out!"

Same here, guys. Guess we'll see you in the shops!
