TOWIE favourite Lydia Bright switched up her hair this week with a gorgeous new cut and colour for winter.

Proof that the lob (long bob in case you've been living under a rock for the past three years!) is still big news. HUGE, in fact.

Lydia's new blonder lob looks gorgeous, healthy and shiny. Big ticks all round, 9 November 2016

Lydia took to Instagram on Wednesday (9 November) after teasing her followers earlier in the day that a hair makeover was about to happen...

"A mad day of filming for a new secret TV show and early crimbo shopping. Now for a new hair look at my fave salon," she posted before heading to Samantha Cusick in London's Notting Hill for her swanky new do.

She then posted an 'after' shot (above) of her gorgeous cut and colour.

"Obsessed with this colour," the reality star wrote.

"Blonder and shorter for the winter. Thanks to the hair super @samantha.cusick. #NoFilter #Hair #Blonde #Lob."

Lydia has been rocking a long, ashy blonde bob for a while now, but we love how she's instantly freshened it up by chopping off the ends and brightening up her colour to a more creamy blonde hue.

This week, former Made In Chelsea star Ashley James also went for the chop and embraced a lob for winter.

Ex Hollyoaks actress Jodi Albert and TOWIE's Amber Dowding are among many more of our favourite celebrities to have braved the scissors this week in favour of shoulder-length locks.

Fact of the day: the lob is going nowhere.
