Little Mermaid actress, Chloë Grace Moretz hit the Cartier Fifth Avenue Grand Reopening event in New York this week with some of the best '80s make-up we've seen for a while.

Electric blue eyeliner, you say? Don't mind if we do!

The trend for '80s hair and make-up is NOT going away, as Chloe proves with these fabulous, colour-pop eyes, 7 September 2016

Chloë, who according to recent reports, just split up with boyfriend Brooklyn Beckham, looked as stunning as ever when she hit the glitzy event on Wednesday evening (7 September) with her brother and fellow actor, Trevor Duke Moretz.

Dressed in a fabulous Coach shirtdress, along with strappy heels, sparkly accessories and a side-swept tousled braid we were all over this look.

And we especially LOVED that eyeliner.

Chloë's colour-pop look was created by celebrity make-up artist Mai Quynh, who has painted the faces of many-a-glamorous A-lister, including Kristen Stewart, Emma Stone, Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Chastain.

Mai put all the focus on Chloë's green eyes, by applying a bright blue eyeliner (to match the print of her dress) around both her top and bottom lashes.

She also teamed the look with nude, glossy lips; strong, brushed-up eyebrows and barely-there lashes to bring even more attention to such a bold make-up statement.

And it totally worked.

To copy Chloë's look, we love Maybelline Colour Show Eye Khol Liner in Turquoise Flash, £2.99, or Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Deep End, £15.50,

And if you're not a fan of blue? Then try coral if your eyes are blue, hot pink if your eyes are brown, or bright purple – a shade that works with ANY eye colour.
