The mum-of-two never looks anything short of gorgeous - FACT - and she has no qualms about showing off her sensational, world-famous body - but she she recently took to her website and app to talk candidly about how she manages to deal with the skin condition, referring to it as one of her biggest flaws.
Taking us down memory lane, Kimmy - who presented a VMAs award to idol Britney Spears over the weekend - revealed exactly how she discovered the parched, itchy patches on her legs was in fact psoriasis.
"I got it for the first time at the DASH store opening in New York," she wrote in a blog post posted to her website and app, Kim Kardashian West.
The stunner - married to rapper Kanye West - continued, "I wore this all-sequin dress and I started getting really itchy; I thought it was just a rash caused by the fabric, but then the rash was COVERING my legs and my mum was like, "I think you have psoriasis!!!" She has it too, and it's hereditary, so she spotted the symptoms immediately."
She went on to write about how she has learned to accept the condition, "I have that one patch on my right leg that is the most visible [...] I don't even really try to cover it that much anymore. Sometimes I just feel like it's my big flaw and everyone knows about it, so why cover it? [...] After this many years, I've really learned to live with it."
Kim also lifted the lid on her body care regime and revealed how she treats the condition on a daily basis.
"Scientists are constantly researching and developing new medications to help treat it," Kim wrote, "but for now, I use a topical cortisone ointment every night before bed."
"I'm always hoping for a cure, of course," she finished, "but in the meantime, I'm learning to just accept it as part of who I am."
And that's why we adore her!
