Check out her middle fingernails, people. Yes, it's 'fern'!

Loving Ferne's summery, tropical nails which are perfect for this weekend's V Festival, 17 August 2016

After a summer of big (HUGE!) festival action, Saturday (20 August) sees the 21st anniversary of V Festival hit Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire, where the likes of Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Little Mix and David Guetta take to the stages.

And we all know what comes with V Festival don't we? Yes, LOTS of our favourite celebrities out in full festival garb, along with plenty of hair and make-up trends to drool over.

And Ferne kicked it off in style on Wednesday (17 August) when she took to Instagram to unveil her festival-ready nails.

"Festival Fern Nails," the former TOWIE star posted.

"All ready for #vfestival this weekend. @nailsbyamyg_essex has produced these absolute winners! Cheeky little fern on my nails too," she added.

Ferne stunned on holiday in Mykonos last week – wonder if the gold face painting will reappear for V Fest? 15 August 2016

Painted white, with gold glittery forefingers, bejewelled ring fingers and a little arty greenery on both her middle fingernails and her pinkies, we are so in love with this look.

And it's hats off to her manicurist, Amy Ganney, for Amy's Nails & Beauty for such fine, intricate work.

To copy her look, first prep your nails with some gentle buffing and filing, then apply a basecoat before going for two thin coats of gold glitter on your forefingernails, and white polish on the rest.

We love Revlon Nail Enamel in Gold Coin, £6.49, boots.com and Butter London Nail Lacquer in Cotton Buds, £12, boots.com.

Wait for your polishes to dry completely, then grab a green nail art pen such as WAH London Nail Art Pen in Dark Green, £7, boots.com. Using a steady hand, draw some fern on your middle fingernails and pinkies.

Again, wait for this to totally dry, then apply a glossy topcoat. While this dries, use tweezers to carefully place some gems at the base of each ring fingernail.

A little tricky, yes, but so worth it.
