Former The Only Way Is Essex star Ferne McCann has just given us a glimpse of her cropped hair before a major extensions overhaul - and we can't get over how different she looks without the extra strands!

Crazy, right?

Reality star turned TV presenter Ferne is famous for her flowing, Rapunzel-esque tresses and she isn't afraid to admit that she receives a helping hand from celebrity favourite, Easilocks - but we never actually realised that her natural lengths were this short, and it seems neither did her fans!

On Sunday (15 August), Ferne - who just got back from a sun-soaked holiday in Mykonos - appeared in a post over on Easilocks' Instagram page and we were mesmerised by her much longer, darker, tousled locks...

...but it was the 'before' snap, in which she rocks a seriously short and choppy 'do that garnered the most attention and many of her fans and followers failed to even recognise her!

One tagged a friend and gasped, "Look how short her hair is before!!! Never would've thought," while another said, "Oh my! Look how short her natural hair is! It's like a totally different person."

One fan even wrote, "I think you look better with short hair!"

Is there a look she can't pull off like a total pro?

Now, gorgeous Ferne isn't the only celeb to show off her much shorter hair of late, as TOWIE's Danielle Armstrong, Ex On The Beach's Megan McKenna and Geordie Shore's Vicky Pattison have all unveiled their bobbed lengths before extensions in the past few months.

On Monday (15 August) Ferne unveiled the results of her nose job live on This Morning, after going in for surgery to remove a bump that she's always disliked.

"It's subtle," she said. "I didn't want to change my whole face. It was just this one thing that bugged me my whole life, especially when I was a teenager and got teased about it at school."

Ferne continued, "Boys used to call me 'goose' and that made it become an insecurity [...] For me, when I look in the mirror, from the front it looks very similar to what it was before," said Ferne, "but the profile, the bumps gone and it is completely different. Twitter trolls didn't help, but I didn't do it for them."
