Kim Kardashian swaps her sleek lob for tight cornrows and hair rings

It feels like she only just debuted her stunning sleek lob (which we discovered was actually a wig - gasp!) but Kim Kardashian has decided to switch things up in a major way.

On Thursday (4 August) the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star swapped her super-straight, shoulder-skimming tresses for a whole head of super-tight cornrows and she proved her style credentials with lashings of silver hair rings to boot.

Wowza.

Mum-of-two Kim looked to Rita Ora's hairstylist Chris Appleton (who else, right?) for her new 'do and she made like sister Kylie Jenner and took to Snapchat to flaunt it for her millions of followers.

Although like most styles Kim rocks, it really divided opinion!

"No, no, no. Don't fix what isn't broken. It doesn't even look like you," wrote one of Kim's followers underneath a saved snap posted to the Kimksnapchats Instagram account, while another said, "Why would you even do this to your lovely shiny hair? Looks painful!"

Eek!

That said, there were tonnes of people who fell head-over-heels for Kim's new look and many were willing to give it a go themselves.

One tagged a friend and said, "Yaaas! We have to find the hoops," while another wrote, "Kim, this hairstyle is everythaaaaang (sic)."

And you do you know what? We kinda like it - but then again, is there anything Kimmy can't pull off like a total pro?

She isn't the only celeb to champion hair rings, though, as former TOWIE star Lauren Pope revealed that she was in to them last summer.
