This week I've been spritzing and swiping the latest beauty buys to land in time for spring and I am seriously impressed.
Yep - it's time to give your beauty bags a little shake up.
Burts Bees Intense Hydration Nourishing Facial Water, £15.99
The hype behind facial waters and essences is one to be believed, trust me! I smoothed this over my cheeks, chin and forehead after cleansing and before moisturising and my bumpy, uneven skin texture has really improved.
Barry M Illuminating Strobe Cream, £4.50
Cream highlighters are the way forward if you want a dewy, natural glow. As not to make a hole in my foundation base, I used the soft pad of my middle finger to pat the illuminating cream onto the tops of my cheekbones and down the centre of my nose.
Dr. Organic Moroccan Glow Body Polish Pre Tan Exfoliator, £8.99
I'll never apply fake tan without looking to an exfoliator first and this one sloughs away rough skin in a few swipes. Plus, it smells divine and you get a lot of bang for your buck!
Sleek MakeUP Matte Me lipstick in Shabby Chic, £4.99
Landing my hands on Kylie Jenner's Lip Kit (especially the gorgeous Candy K swatch) has proven impossible but I've found the perfect dupe in Sleek's Shabby Chic Matte Me! Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't dry your lips out like other mattes and it's a total bargain.
Noir Caviar Anti-Age Restorative Cleanser, £13.50
I swapped out my usual shampoo for a dollop of this gentle cleanser (let it work its magic for 1-2 minutes) and my lengths have never felt stronger. Bye split ends, hello shine!
Clarins Detox Booster, £30
I'm a little bit of a sugar addict and it shows on my face (ugh, spots) but popping a drop or two of this liquid gold into my daily moisturiser has really levelled out my complexion. I skipped make-up all weekend.
KENT Oooh That's Nice Hedonistic Hairbrush £12.50
This brush moves in an incredibly unique way to grab every single strand of hair (without tugging or snagging, FYI) thanks to the clever mix of longer nylon and shorter boar bristles. I now carry it everywhere with me because of it's ability to bust knots sans pain!
TIGI S-Factor Vivacious Volume Hairspray, £20.95
The backcomb brush has met it's match in this volume boosting hairspray that doesn't feel sticky, hard or leave knots when it dries. P.S. Buy any two S-Factor products and you can snag a seriously fierce Spectrum brush and cosmetics bag as an extra.
Medik8 Clay Mask, £27
There's something about a clay mask that makes your skin feel thoroughly cleansed afterwards. This one is jam-packed with skin-friendly antioxidants to draw out impurities without a drying effect.
Nicky Clarke Frizz Control Hot Air Styler, £24.99
I can't get enough of Nicky Clarke's desiRED straighteners so I was really excited to give this a go - and I love it! In a flick of the wrist I created voluminous tousles that actually lasted, and true to it's promise, there was zero frizz. A first for my wild mane.
