Three Coachella hair trends you WILL be wearing this festival season

Coachella has officially been and gone, and with everyone from Kylie Jenner to Bella Thorne strutting their stylish stuff at this year's Music & Arts Festival, we thought it only fair to sum up the three biggest hair trends from two of the most festival-fabulous weekends of the year!

But how do we even know what everyone's hair was doing at this year's festival – held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California? Because Reveal's former Beauty Director, Georgia Goodall was also there, doing a spot of style-stalking, that's how.

1. The first major trend we spied (and it wasn't difficult when SO many ladies were wearing them!), was the double-bun look as seen recently on Khloe Kardashian and Katie Price, and worn fabulously by Danielle Peazer at Coachella (above left).

Danielle wore hers slightly messy (thanks to the genius hair artistry of Zoe Irwin, session stylist and creative director for ghd) and with a few pieces falling forwards to frame her face.

Literally as is she'd quickly whipped them up herself after rolling out of her tent. Cunning.

You could also try a different take on the trend, leaving half of your hair loose Khloe K-style. Basically anything goes, just as long as it looks a little bit Gwen Stefani/Spice Girls from about a decade ago!

2. Not sure about the double, Minnie Mouse buns? Hair not quite long enough to carry it off? Then colour is the trend for you. And what better way to nail it than with a wig, like Bella Thorne?...

After working flashes of red, purple and blue on the first day of the festival, Bella took Coachella by storm the following day, wearing a bright, colour pop purple wig.

Fake, temporary and totally eye-catching, that's the kind of hair trend we love!

Check out your local wig shop for some inspiration on how to copy Bella's look. Or, try applying colour chalk to your natural hair if you don't fancy a wig. We love Fudge Urban Colour Hair Chalk, £6.29, or Bleach London Hair Crayons, £4, which can be used together to create a fabulous, rainbow-effect.

3. Talking of which, we're sure you've seen Kylie Jenner's amazing multi-coloured Coachella braids by now, yes?

Well, colour aside, the double braid was probably the biggest trend of the festival. HUGE, in fact – Georgia says she's never seen so many girls working the same trend in one place!

"If I had to take a wild stab in the dark, I'd estimate more than half of the girls at Coachella Weekend 2 were sporting the double, French plaited look. Probably even more," she reckoned.

Jeez! That's a whole lotta braiding going on.

While Kylie opted for the super-popular, double French braided do – which we've also seen on the likes of stepsisters Khloe and KimMillie Mackintosh went for a slightly different take on the look (again thanks to Zoe Irwin and ghd).

Instead of French or reverse Dutch plaits, the former Made In Chelsea star donned thick, chunky plaits, which were braided from just below ear-level and had strings of tiny little pompoms woven in. Loving. That. Look.

So, there we go ladies, three hair trends you WILL be wearing this summer. And if not, trust us, you'll wish you were...
