Just when we thought the whole Kylie Lip Kit launch couldn't get worse than breaking Google or leaking the private information of customers, celebrity make-up artist Jeffree Star calls out the collection for its poor quality - eek!

Make-up maestro Jeffree has his own sell-out collection of beauty products but like everyone else, he was super-excited to land his hands on Kylie Jenner's Lip Kit collection - the high-shine glosses, especially.

However, the beauty genius was less than impressed with what he received through the post and took to Twitter to vent his frustration.

When Jeffree went to try out a slick of the gloss, he claims he noticed that the bristles of two of the lip brushes were bent and broken, meaning, he said, application was near impossible. Posting a picture of the messy wands, he said.

"So I got the new @kyliecosmetics lip glosses.... SO disappointed in this product. That wand is unacceptable." He continued to bash the brushes in a series of posts that gained re-tweet after re-tweet from fans and followers.

"No shade but... How the f**k can a multimillion dollar celebrity, think this is acceptable?? Was there no quality control," he wrote. Jeffree then went on to say, "Those were brand-new straight out of the box, and I pulled them out for the first time and saw that… umm..."

He then finished with a piece of advice for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star who was at Coachella festival at the time: "So there's my thoughts.. Take it how you want. I just hope she works harder on quality control and spends more time on future products."

Oh no!

Of course, it wasn't long before KJ took to the social media site to defend her beauty empire. She mentioned that all of her Lip Kit brushes have been altered to make application much more comfortable and concluded, "Life is a learning experience, and we learn from our mistakes."

Hear, hear, Kylie.

Since launching her Lip Kit line in November, the products have been flying off the shelves. Her last mattes re-stock sold out in just under 15 minutes and her new metal drop, released on 15 April, disappeared too, so it's safe to say the majority of fans are happy with their purchases - phew!

It's just very unfortunate for Kylie that the faulty brushes landed in the hands of infamous Mr. Star, eh?
