...but the majority took to Instagram to mention that they just couldn't imagine wearing the high-shine and intensely shimmery lippie additions like the other more understated products - until now, that is!
Over the weekend, trend-setter Kylie divided the opinion of fans - who are self-confessed obsessives of her mattes and gloss collection - by showing off the shimmer flecked new buys on her arm, and they took to Instagram in their droves to tell the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star that they weren't necessarily in love with the new bits and pieces...
One follower said of the new shades Reign, King and Heir, "I just dunno how I feel about them," while another wrote, "Some people are obsessed with these but I think they might be a bit too much on the lips?"
With that feedback in mind, Kylie looked to her BFF Jordyn Woods for a little help in modelling them properly and her plan worked a treat, as most fans changed their tune completely!
After posting a snap of the gorgeous Jordyn sporting Reign to her KylieCosmetics Instagram page yesterday evening, the likes came flooding in - and many of KJ's Lip Kit fans ate their words!
One fan wrote, "Do you know what! It doesn't look that bad on!" and another even said, "So this is how Reign looks! It actually looks really nice. SO 90s! I hope I can get one this time."
Kylez also posted a snap of a beauty blogger rocking the original Candy K lip liner with King K in the centre - and it totally slayed. She captioned the picture: "Candy K lip liner & King K in the middle! it's like highlighter for the lips."
And there you have it - the real way to sport Kylie's new liquid metal lippies. Will you try and land your hands on them when they drop later this month? Tweet us!
